Technical Business Analyst – Data Migration & Insurance (m/f/d)

We support insurance companies with challenging data migration projects and are developing DataBridge, our own platform for data migration and test data management.

• Development of technical specifications and solution designs for data migrations
• Analysis of source data using SQL and evaluation of data quality
• Development of mapping and transformation logic between source and target systems
• Translation of business requirements into technical solution concepts
• Prototyping and development of solutions using modern AI tools, particularly Claude Code
• Creation of test and validation concepts for migration data
• Coordination with business units, IT teams, and external partners
• Documentation of migration rules, processes, and solutions

• Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification
• 2–5 years of professional experience, ideally in data or migration projects
• Very strong SQL skills and experience with complex data analysis
• Experience in the insurance industry is a strong plus
• Analytical thinking and a passion for translating business requirements into technical solutions
• Strong affinity for modern AI tools and AI-assisted development
• Ability to work independently, in a structured and self-directed manner
• Fluent German and good English skills
• Residence in the Ruhr region
